Strawberries are succulent sweet fruits, that are popular for their bright red colour, unique texture and nutritional value. These little packages of red protect the heart against diseases and prevent cancer. Strawberries are low in carbs and chiefly the only carbs they contain are fibres and simple sugars. Fresh strawberries can be enjoyed directly or with cereal, as jams, in ice creams and many other sweet delights.
